Experiential learning ensures the ability to learn from and through experience. Reflecting with a client on an organisational problem is a first step in learning from experience towards improvement of the situation.
The psychodynamic perspective on organisations enables us to work with unconscious and hidden processes in organisations: how they find expression or are kept hidden, what emotions play a part and how they affect all levels of the organisation. We consider individual emotions, including our own, not as only personal, but also as resonant of the environment of which the individual is a part.
Systems thinking explores how all parts and aspects of an organisation influence one another. This implies that one cannot look at an organisational issue as isolated from its context.
